The USCB Center for the Arts is currently exhibiting the Lowcountry Photography of Chris Kirk in its Main Gallery. A retired CPA who for the past decade has resided on St. Helena Island, Chris uses the other side of his brain to indulge his passionate hobby of photographing his Lowcountry home.

The Hilton Head Island St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee introduced G. Neil Love, M.D. as Grand Marshal for the 31st Annual Hilton Head Island St. Patrick's Day Parade Presented by iSelectMDTM at a ceremony held last month. iSelectMD president Michael Iaquinta presented Dr. Love with the traditional Grand Marshal's Sash following opening remarks by Parade Committee co-chair Alan Perry.

It was a bitter cold, rainy day in Beaufort when I met with Riccardo and Laura Bonino, the owners of Griffin Market. I had been looking forward to this meeting, and a little bad weather wasn't going to ruin my mood. Dodging the raindrops from the restaurant parking lot, I went inside and was introduced to a very warm couple – surrounded by an equally warm and inviting dining room – and I soon forgot the lousy weather outside.

The Hilton Head Choral Society is welcoming spring in the Lowcountry with "Music from The Stage" at 8 pm on Friday, March 21 at First Presbyterian Church, 540 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island.
