Fandango Productions South and the Beaufort Film Society are bringing Hollywood glamour to this year’s Beaufort International Film Festival.

The Beaufort International Film Festival is approaching, and this year the anticipated event is sure to wow! Beginning with the Opening Ceremony to be held on Wednesday, February 15 on the rooftop of Old Bay Marketplace, 917 Bay Street, the 2012 festival is sure to be hailed as the most enchanting yet.

Art Beyond Tradition brings something brand new to USCB

A new year, a new show. “New Vibrations” has opened at the USCB Center for the Arts. The Art Beyond Tradition group has brought its magic to the university’s gallery on Carteret Street. Twelve abstract artists have put together an exhibit of new works. The show will run through April 30, with an opening reception at the gallery on Friday, February 3 from 5-7 pm. The public is invited.

Lisa See’s Dreams of Joy entered the New York Times bestselling list at #1 its first week of publication. During this last summer, her other novel, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan debuted as a movie. This extraordinary writer will be the featured author on February 23, 2012 at the USCB Lunch With Author Series at the Holiday Inn Beaufort, 2225 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
