As it turns out, my nephew has also inherited Mama's "love of cooking" gene! We recently spent an afternoon together baking cookies in my kitchen. Ray wanted to bake sugar cookies. I wanted chocolate chip. We compromised and baked them both!

Fit to Be Tied

Dear Aunt Bossy,

I am about to get married to a lovely gal. She is beautiful and smart and a good cook and likes to do all the things that I like to do like hunting and fishing and camping and boating. Only problem is that she is a complete control freak and everything has to be perfect or she gets very upset.

I like this straightforward definition of "rescue": responsive operations that usually involve the saving of life, or prevention of injury during an incident or dangerous situation. For anyone who has ever been rescued, it is a precious gift.
