Election season is upon us. Well, it’s not really upon us – not bearing down just yet – but the storm is out there, churning away in the murky sea that is social media, and I’m already feeling the effects here on shore. Time to batten down the hatches, my friends.

And it’s about time ! Is it just me, or did winter seem to go on forever this year? I’m ready for less pollen and fewer Live Oak leaves.

            I stepped in it, y’all.

            And I mean both figuratively and literally.

            Not too long ago, I was atop my high horse telling everyone who would listen how I was done. Finished.  Absolutely complete. No longer interested in the baby train, dirty diaper, sleepless nights of life on the Midnight Express.
