The Arts Center will host the annual Youth ArtsFest in recognition of National Youth Arts month, held from 11am – 1pm and featuring dance and drama workshops, food, drinks, arts and crafts, followed by Island School Council for the Arts’ Rising Stars Talent Competition at 2pm.
The Beaufort Arts Council will be hosting an ArtPop Reception to introduce the winners of this year’s inaugural ArtPop Program. Come celebrate this great work by local artists.
The Baptist Church of Beaufort Covenant Choir and Voices of the Commonwealth Community Choir from Northern Kentucky will be joining forces with other guest singers and chamber orchestra on Sunday, March 6, at 2 pm for the first Beaufort performance of Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living at the Baptist Church of Beaufort.

Charles Wersler and Sandra Fischer will be signing their books at McIntosh Book Shoppe in the Bay Street Marketplace, 919 Bay Street on Saturday, February 27 from noon until 3:00 pm Mr. Wersler’s book, Last Ferry to Beaufort is based on his study of personal photographs and historical documents concerning the last ferryman in Beaufort County, who also just happened to be his great grandfather, Captain Willie Roberts. Wersler was born in Beaufort and as a writer has a deep interest in the life and history of Beaufort.
